The first poster below, was created by me during a communications design course at Elon. Our assignment was to pick an event known to you, large or small, and make a mock poster promoting it using Adobe InDesign. I chose the Little Neck - Douglaston Memorial Day Parade, a large parade that happens every year in my hometown. After turning in the project, I emailed the parade organizers and told them about the poster. They loved the design and wanted to use it to promote the 2022 parade. I ended up being contracted by them to also create the 2023 parade poster.
