Miscellaneous Writing
The final few pieces I want to show, don't fit into a particular communications category; nevertheless, they showcase work done in a few specialty areas: Sports Marketing, Architectural Research, Data Analysis, and Newsletter Copy. These were completed during my time at Elon, and internships. I want to discuss a few of these in more detail: The research paper below was written for a study abroad class; in which we had to identify and discuss a famous structure in Europe. I was assigned "MUCEM", a modernist museum in Marseille, France. This paper takes a deep dive into the structure, its design, engineering, and historical context. Next to it, "LaLiga: A Football Fan's Identity", was written as an analysis from a sports marketing perspective during a study abroad trip to Spain, where my class met with football club marketing directors, toured stadiums, and analyzed the impact of ESPN and sports communications in a non-US market. The "Open House Report", was created by me while working at Elon University's Student Professional Development Center. This report is a thorough breakdown using data analysis and Excel spreadsheets, in order to help us understand our 2023 open house and prepare for next year. Lastly, "The Balfour Bugle" is a newsletter that I wrote and designed as part of my internship responsibilities while I was working at summer camp. This was a weekly newsletter sent out to the parents of the campers.
